The chefs in the barn cook with local produce and design the a la carte menu every day to suit the local ingredients available each season to make their dishes as fresh as they possibly can be, while also perfectly suiting the time of year.
We can also cater for those with allergy or dietry requirements, if on the day there are no suitable meals for you, the chefs are more than happy to create a personal dish that will suit you better.
The menu will always consist of a variety of local meat, fish and vegetarian options.
Up above the barn, hidden discretely in the rafters is a large, light and airy conference room. With a private outside veranda area while you break for coffee this is a really comfortable environment for a seminar or meeting the added advantage being that coffees, teas and cakes will all be delicious and come straight up from the restaurant. You then have the option of booking dining downstairs in the restaurant or have lunch brought up to you.
Start with the epic breakfast (there are THREE sizes available, standard, large and mega!), with free range eggs, freshly baked bread, best quality bacon, our own sausages and black pudding, and add anything else your heart desires. Or come for a delicious lunch – anything from a bowl of homemade soup and crusty bread to pan fried sea bass served with new potatoes, seasonal vegetables and a mouth watering tomato and olive pesto. The al a carte menu changes daily depending on the fresh produce we have in stock so each time you visit there will always be more options to choose from. We also have an extensive sandwich and snack menu including jacket potatoes, and childrens menu. We also do a full Sunday Lunch menu, once again using all our own meats. Monday - Friday: breakfast is served from 9:00-15:00, lunch is served from 12:00-15:00.
Saturdays: breakfast is served 8:30-16:00, lunch is served from 12:00-16:00.
Sundays: breakfast is served 9:00-11:30, and lunch is served from 12:00-15:00
Friday and Saturday Evening Dining 18:00-21:00
Available for private functions. £400 to include: Spit roast equipment, Free range pig to feed approx 120 people, Delivery & Collection, Cleaning and Gas.
A carver is available by arrangement.
Rolls, Apple Sauce, Salads and Desserts are also available on request.
